This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application designed for shop owners, freelancers, retailers, wholesalers, and small businesses. We believe in complete transparency — and because your data belongs to you.

📌 Information We Collect

Professional Bill Pad is built with privacy in mind. We do not collect or transmit any personal data to external servers unless explicitly initiated by you (e.g., sharing an invoice via WhatsApp or email). All business data, invoices, customer details, GST information, business profile, and logos are stored locally on your device.

• Business Profile Data: Business name, logo, address, phone, email, GST Number — stored only locally on your device.
• Invoice Records: All normal bills and GST invoices (including products, prices, tax details) remain on your device’s internal storage.
• Customer Details: Names or contacts you add while creating invoices are saved locally for convenience.
• No cloud sync (unless you activate future optional cloud backup). As of the release date, no automatic data collection occurs.

⚙️ How We Use Your Information

Since all data remains on your device, we only access your information to:

• Generate professional invoices and GST bills based on your inputs.
• Store and retrieve invoice history for editing, searching, or deletion.
• Create and display your business branding on generated PDFs.
• Provide PDF sharing and WhatsApp invoice sharing features (files are generated locally and shared via system intent).

We never sell, rent, or trade any of your business or customer data. No remote servers receive your invoices or customer lists.

🧾 GST & Financial Information

Professional Bill Pad performs CGST, SGST, and IGST calculations automatically based on the GST percentage you select while creating an invoice. All tax calculations happen offline on your device. We do not store or process tax/financial data outside the app. It is your responsibility to verify tax compliance, and the app simply acts as a tool to assist with calculations. No financial data is reported to any government authority by us.

🔐 Permissions & Local Storage

Professional Bill Pad may request the following permissions only for core functionality:

• Storage / Media access: To save generated PDF invoices on your device (optional) or to let you select a business logo from your gallery. No files are read without your action.
• Internet (optional): Used only when you explicitly share invoices via WhatsApp, email, or other sharing methods; also for future updates check (if any). Internet is never used to upload your data.

You can deny these permissions, and the app will still work but certain features (PDF export or logo upload) may be limited.

📤 Sharing Your Invoices (Your Control)

The app allows you to share generated PDF invoices via WhatsApp, email, or any installed sharing app. When you choose to share a document, the PDF is temporarily stored and passed to the external app of your choice. Professional Bill Pad does not have access to your contacts, chat history, or the content you share outside. Third-party apps (WhatsApp, Gmail, etc.) have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

👥 Children's Privacy

Our application is intended for business owners and professionals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete such information (since no data is stored on our servers, you may simply clear app data).

🔒 Data Security & Retention

All invoice data and business profile information reside exclusively on your device's local storage. You maintain full control: you can delete invoices individually, clear all history from the app's settings, or uninstall the application to permanently remove all data. We advise that you keep regular backups of important invoices manually if needed, as device loss or uninstallation will erase local data. Professional Bill Pad is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, but we design robust local storage.

✋ Your Rights & Choices

Because your data never leaves your device, you already have absolute rights:

• Access & Export: View all invoices inside the app, generate PDFs for your records.
• Correction: Edit any invoice or business profile details directly.
• Deletion: Delete any unwanted invoice within the Invoice History screen or clear app data.
• Opt-out of future features: If cloud backup becomes available as an optional feature (coming soon), you may choose not to use it.

📢 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in app functionality or legal requirements. Any updates will be notified via an in-app notice or on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of Professional Bill Pad after changes constitutes acceptance, but we advise checking occasionally. Significant changes will always be highlighted.
